5. Racing .. including cars, motorbikes, motor cross, pedal power and even horses.
6. American Football.... (Rugby with extra padding and the ball can be passed forwards. Grid Iron!
7. Baseball (Rounders really.... for grown ups!)
8. Golf ... One man and a small ball verses the countryside
9. Hockey ... either on or not on ice... fast and furious ...!
10. Swimming... all over in a splash... outside in the sea...
11. Contact ... boxing, judo, karate...

My husband has abused the game of Cricket, leaving me to not like it forever and forever. No sports fan here! ~ Nards :-)
Nice post, but hockey is the world's greatest sport, bar none. For part one of my take on it, visit http://www.toomanymornings.com/?p=24
Cricket, it's rules are really confusing.
We Pakistanis, Indians like it very much. But it takes too much time and particularly in a test match it often results in a draw.
thanks for introducing so many games that too in your own, nice style.
I think rugby and football are the manliest of sports. I like to play cricket and golf myself though. I am a girlie-girl ;)
There is no basketball which is very popular here in our country-Philippines. But soccer or football, soccer is the choice of word is becoming popular.
I like Football too but my favourite is Hurling which is an Irish sport.
What is Hurling?
